AI course authoring · Private preview
Design the course before AI builds it.
Coursory turns what you know into an interactive course: you shape the storyboard first, AI drafts the screens you approve, and you export SCORM when it is ready.
Private preview, by invitation. Every screen on this page is the real product.

The problem
Generating first means fixing later.
When a tool writes before anyone has decided what each screen is for, you inherit a draft you never designed and spend your time taking it apart. Coursory puts the design step first, then lets AI do the drafting.
How it works
Six steps. The design happens in step three.
Generation comes after the storyboard, not before it, so the AI builds the course you planned.
01 Brief
Describe your audience, goals and starting material. Upload documents or begin from a topic.
02 Outline
AI proposes a course structure. Adjust it and approve it before going further.
03 Storyboard
Where the course is designedPlan every screen before anything is generated: its learning goal, its content and how the learner interacts.
04 Generate
Approve a credit quote, then AI drafts the screens, quizzes and media you planned.
05 Studio
Edit words, layouts, quizzes and branching on a visual canvas, or ask the AI command bar for a change.
06 SCORM
Preview the course as a learner, then export SCORM 1.2 or 2004 and test it in your LMS.
Inside the Studio
From plan to package, in one place.
01 / 03
Plan the course on the storyboard.
Lay out every screen, what it is for and how the learner interacts, before any content is generated. AI Suggest can draft a plan from your topic as a starting point.

Shape every screen in Studio.
Generated screens stay editable: words, layouts, quizzes and branching. Or type a change into the AI command bar, such as making a quiz harder.

Export a SCORM package.
Preview the learner experience, then export SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 and check scoring and resume in your LMS.

What you can make
Real screens, from three sample courses.
Every card is a screenshot of Coursory as it works today, in a preview workspace: the Interactive Safety Training and Customer Service Branching Scenario samples, and a sample storyboard on handling complaints.
Showing all 12 screens.

Studio: Fire Safety Quiz Single choice, true or false and select-all questions on one screen.
Learner preview: What would you do? The decision point of the customer call, as a learner meets it on a small screen.
Studio: Fire Safety Basics An accordion on extinguisher types, the PASS technique and when to evacuate.
Storyboard: handling complaints A sample course planned screen by screen, before anything is generated.
Learner preview: Fire Safety Quiz Each question is answered and submitted as a learner would.
Studio: Angry customer call The scenario screen that sets up a difficult conversation.
Studio: Emergency Procedures Tabs for fire alarm, medical emergency and severe weather steps.
Learner preview: Empathetic response Path A of the scenario, after the learner picks the better reply.
Studio: AI commands Ask for a change in plain words, such as making a quiz harder.
Studio: What would you do? Two possible responses, edited directly on the canvas.
Learner preview: Fire Safety Basics The learner's view of the accordion screen.
Learner preview: Best practices An accordion of takeaways that closes the scenario.
Why Coursory
Built around the decisions that make a course work.
AI speeds up the authoring. You still decide what is accurate, useful and ready for learners.
Storyboard-first design
Decide what every screen is for, and how learners interact with it, before any content is generated.
Everything stays editable
Generated words, layouts, quizzes and branches are a draft you can change in Studio, never a locked result.
Media where it helps
Choose where images and narration support the lesson. Narration is selective by default, and silence is a valid choice.
SCORM 1.2 and 2004
Export packages for your SCORM-compliant LMS, then check scoring and resume there before learners do.
Credits you can see
AI work uses credits. Full-course generation shows a quote before it starts, and your balance and history stay in the app.
Pricing
No public prices during the preview.
Preview access is by invitation and is not a paid subscription. AI work such as drafting text, images and narration uses credits, and your allowance is confirmed with your invitation.
How pricing will workIncluded in the preview
- AI-assisted planning and a storyboard for every course
- Editable screens, interactions, quizzes and selective media
- A credit quote before full-course generation, and your usage history
- Learner preview and SCORM 1.2 or 2004 export
Can I try Coursory without an invitation?
Not yet. Coursory is in private preview and accounts are by invitation. Use Request access to join the waitlist; invitations are sent as places open.
Will every screen have narration?
No. Narration is selective by default. You can choose no narration, selective coverage or broader coverage, and review the media plan before full-course generation. The goal is to support the lesson, not to narrate every quiz.
How do generation credits work?
AI actions such as analysis, text, assessments, images and narration use credits. Full-course generation shows a server-calculated quote first. Unused reserved credits are released, but completed provider work can still be charged if a later step fails. Your balance and usage history are visible in the app.
Can I use my existing material and AI providers?
Start with a topic or upload source material such as PDF, Word or PowerPoint files. Provider availability depends on your deployment and configured credentials. Administrators can configure text, image and narration services; provider keys are not interchangeable across these services.
Where can I publish my course?
Export SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 packages and test them in your SCORM-compliant LMS. Check compatibility, scoring and resume in your target LMS. xAPI and cmi5 exports are not currently available.
What should I know about privacy?
The preview is one shared workspace that every invited account joins. Roles decide who can change a course, and saved provider credentials are encrypted. Separating customer organisations from one another is planned and not built yet. AI actions send relevant content to the selected service, and that provider's terms also apply. Read the Security page and the Privacy Policy before you upload confidential material.
